ABOUT JAM INDUSTRIES LTD.
Founded in 1972, Jam Industries Ltd. began operating in Montreal under the trade name of Erikson Music. In the 1980s Jam Industries widened its scope with the formation of Korg Canada and Erikson Pro Audio allowing greater focus on important Marketing areas. In April 1986 Jam industries purchased Coast Wholesale Music Ltd. and proceeded to transform this Western Canadian company from a regional distributor into a full-fledged national marketing and sales force. Into the 1990s the company further expanded with Pro Audio entering the lighting market, distributing Martin Professional Lighting products into Canada; and into the consumer electronics field with the Erikson Consumer division.

Erikson Pro, Martin Canada
Erikson Pro truly reflects its name, pursuing distribution to audio and lighting professionals in every category: contracting, touring, install, etc. Professional equipment distributed includes renowned brands such as Allen & Heath, Aphex, Chauvet, Denon DJ, DOD and many more.
Erikson Audio specializes in distrubuting pro audio equipment to multiple segments: recording, sound reinforcement, commercial audio and DJ. Brands include audio-technica, Ashley, Cevwin-Veqa, Focusrite, Fostex and more.
Erikson Music specializes in distributing musical instruments of major international brand products, catering to music stores. This division boasts brands such as Marshall, Pearl, Washburn and many more.
American Music & Sound
Jam’s entry in the US several years ago has developed in two natural directions; Pro Audio and Music. The operations are completed in Canada under the Jam umbrella and a sister company NAPA (North American Light and Sound) in Los Angeles takes care of all marketing and sales management in the US. Lines represented include renowned brands such as Allen & Heath, KV2, NetCIRA, Focusrite, Novation and more.
Operating as a self-standing sales division with its focus exclusively on Korg and that brand’s vast array of products. This division reports to the management of Erikson Music.
Erikson Consumer Home
Erikson Consumer Home distributes a select group of audio products including home theater, mobile audio/video, and custom products, which can be found in national and regional CE chains, department stores, furniture and appliance chains, and specialized CI and independents.
Erikson Consumer Multimedia
Erikson Consumer Multimedia distributes the most sought after multimedia products including iPod and MP3 accessories, docking stations, headphones, and computer speaker systems.
Erikson Consumer Mobile
Erikson Consumer Mobile specializes in products designed for your various vehicles such as car amplifiers, speakers, head units, bass boxes, DVD players, marine speakers, GPS units, sound reduction materials, and satellite radio.

American Audio and Video
AAV represents Jam Industries’ entry in to the American consumer electronics market. Much like our other American branch, American Music and Sound, most operations take place at the head office in Montreal with warehousing, sales support, and sales representatives based in the United States. Brands distributed include specialty audio lines such as FatMan, Roth Audio and multimedia products by Boynq.
U.S. Music Corp.
U.S. Music Corp. manufactures and globally distributes musical instruments including brands such as Washburn, Randall, Eden, Parker, Soundtech, Oscar Schmidt, Vinci, GWL, and Washburn for kids.
Jam now employees over 450 people at their state of the art offices and distribution centre in Montreal with 210,000 sq. ft of warehouse space and imminent expansion plans to add an additional 250,000 sq. ft. The key to Jam’s success is its people. Open lines of communication inspire initiative and dedication. In the US Jam maintains a central high tech distribution and service center near Memphis of 150,000 sq. ft., two satellite warehouse in Chicago totaling another 150,000 sq ft., and sales offices in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
